FACIAL REJUVENATION ACUPUNCTURE
What is facial acupuncture?
It is a non–surgical procedure that will help rejuvenate and revitalize your skin using multiple small acupuncture needles inserted into the face. These are single use, high quality disposable acupuncture needles that are ultra thin to be inserted into the skin.
It helps to improve blood flow and nourish your skin while we also improve the internal conditions of the body through diet, lifestyle and occasional supplements. Increasing the local circulation to the face while stimulating collagen will help to fill out the fine lines and increase the overall firmness/ tone and even out the texture of your skin giving a more vital look. Collagen is the major structural protein within our skin that gives it strength and youthfulness. As we age the collagen fibers start to decrease in number and disperse, this is when we start to see wrinkles and sagging of the tissue.
In order to see best results, a series of 8-10 cosmetic acupuncture treatments is generally recommended. The frequency of maintenance treatments will depend on areas of concern, along with the lifestyle and diet changes made to optimize skin health.
